@meridian, @reddevil The average bitrate is 1183 Kb/s compared to rmz's other TCW at ~700 Kb/s. I'm still getting the hang of new software/hardware setup. My target has been 900-1100 Kb/s.

@meridian, @reddevil, It looks like an equivalent CQ setting is now 33-34 to the 23 in old setup. I see Joy is using CQ=22 in his HQ encodes, so this is close. Using the Nvidia encoder, there are no half settings.
I encourage discussion from any encoders.

@meridian, @reddevil, Something interesting, Handbrake and Win Update don't play well together. They will cause each other to fail, corrupt workspace, etc. One at a time and all is well.

@Raada, thanks for the info on encoding settings and the heads-up. I have not used HB much since the cpu is needed elsewhere And also, only using it to encode one at a time. Will try to make some time to put 2 or more in a queue and get some info. I thought Joybell was a female...

Hi, dears.

My hobby is collecting tv series / movies.
Last year, I started encoding myself the releases that were omitted by RMZ (x265) bots. I use XMedia Recode 3.4.3.6 with HEVC encoder set with CRF = 25 and resize to 720p, if needed Nothing more!
The file sizes are close more than 90 percent to RMZ ones (I tried comparison for one and same releases several times).
I repeat that this exercise is for my hobby / collecting needs. For watching purposes, I download 1080p Web (tv series) or BluRay (movies) releases

@reddevil, No prob. I have no idea about Joy's gender. I tend to use the classic (he, his, etc.) for unknown gender identification.

@all, I need to pass on some info about HB 1.3.1 (and later). It REQUIRES a paging file. I had noticed a hard drive thumping (remember 'click of death'?) and searched until I found the page file was on that drive and I turned it off. After the next reboot, an odd thing, HB kept disappearing- window gone, no error message no 'notification'. HB's log file wasn't helpful. Google searching wasn't helpful. A brief look at the Event Viewer didn't help. When all else failed, I retraced my steps. A more careful look in the Event Viewer found (among other things) a reference to a page file error. It seems the lack of a page file was causing HB to commit an 'unhandled exception'. I replaced the page file and all is well.
I am currently running HB nightly build 4-09-2020 and it seems to be working well- it has been running continuously over 24 hours without problems.

@bld71, welcome to the 'club'. We are just honing our skills and at times supplying a missed episode. My upload speed is atrocious (~32KB/s) but I try.

@bld71, looks good. I use mediainfo for quick statistical analysis and your vid falls between
When.Calls.the.Heart.S07E07.720p.HDTV.HEVC.x265-rmteam.mkv
and When.Calls.the.Heart.S07E07.720p.HEVC.x265-MeGusta.mkv
which isn't a bad place to be. Any further refinement would be due to desire for smaller file or detail during extremely dark and/or fast action scenes which do require a higher bit rate.
One suggestion, once modified, your handle belongs where the -OATH is and it, as the source, belongs in the metadata or as a tag (the vid already has 4 tags but none identify the source encoder, that I can see). I am not familiar with your encoder but you can use MKVToolNix GUI (free) to do this on the Output page, file name. This tool is also good for syncing audio and video or adding/removing/changing audio tracks or subtitles without any changes to the video track.
Again, you vid looks fine.

I don't do any analysis of the media content (dark/light and fast/slow scenes). I know there're lot of encoder tweaks, but don't have time to play with.

Btw, I don't like newer builds of XMedia Recode, so I'm stuck with version 3.4.3.6 - very user friendly interface and suitable for batch jobs!

Hi bld71, try the suggestions by Raada, since they (him and meridian) know what they are talking about. I am still a newbie in x265 encodings and use HandBrake 1.2.2 (x64).

Hi Raada and Hi meridian, hope u guys are doing good. You won't believe the coincidence of my finishing fauda s01e01 and RMTeam putting it up after a few days Now only Fauda S03E09 is still missing and if anyone wants, links are below:

Just downloaded it for you, Raada and seems fine here. Mostly, I got it from the same place u got but used dropapk (slow but does the job) via Jdownloader. Maybe scn-rls admin is right about debrid etc.. The CRC32 hash of that mp4 is: 40441651, just verfiy it with yours and let me know if it's same or not.
